We just wanted to remind you about our etiquette when attending Aqua classes. These practices are in place to help create a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for all participants.
1. Arrive on Time
Arrive a few minutes early to get changed and ready for the class. Joining late can disrupt the flow of the session.
2. Wear Appropriate Swimwear & Footwear
Wear comfortable and suitable swimwear that allows free movement. Aqua shoes are permitted however under no circumstances can footwear with laces be worn in the swimming pool.
3. Shower Before Entering the Pool
Rinse off in the shower before your session to maintain pool hygiene.
4. Respect Personal Space
Be mindful of others. Allow plenty of space between yourself and other class participants.
5. Follow the Instructor’s Guidance
Pay attention to the instructor and follow their movements as best as you can. This keeps everyone in sync and prevents confusion.
6. Keep Conversation to a Minimum
Please be respectful of the instructor and other class participants by keeping conversation during the session to a minimum.
7. Use Equipment Properly
If the class involves pool noodles, dumbbells, or other equipment, handle them responsibly and return them to their proper place after use.
8. Consider the Needs of Others
Some participants may have mobility issues or be new to the class. Be patient and understanding with others’ abilities and limitations.
9. Inform the Instructor of Any Limitations
If you have any injuries or conditions that may affect your participation, let the instructor know before entering the pool
10. Respect Pool Rules
It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with any rules and health and safety information located in the changing facilities and around poolside.
11. Courteous towards others
Please be courteous and treat others with respect. Our staff are here to keep you safe and our other class participants are here to enjoy themselves. You must follow any instruction given by our staff team.
12. Pool Entry
We will aim to be ready 5 minutes before the class start time based on the clock located poolside. Please do not enter until the lifeguard and Instructors say it’s safe to do so. If you wish to warm up before the class, please use the appropriate lane or casual swim area.
By following these practices, you’ll help create a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for all participants.
