Hertfordshire Sports Village has a range of pitches and outdoor courts. These are available 7 days a week to hire.
Our outdoor sports facilities are centrally located in Hatfield, just outside St Albans and Welwyn Garden City.
Hard Courts
Our 2 floodlit hard courts can be hired for activities like tennis, football and netball.
3G New Generation Pitches
Our 2 floodlit 3G all weather pitches can be hired all year round for Football, Rugby and American Football. These facilities are used by Arsenal Ladies and other elite training squads.
Please note: Rugby and American Football can only be played on our New Gen 2 pitch due the full body tackling in the sports. Extra padding in the turf provides more support when someone falls to the ground. Metal studded footwear is not allowed on any of our artificial turf pitches (trainers, astro turf boots and moulded studs are allowed).
Sand Dressed Astro
Our sand dressed floodlit astro offers a top of range surface ideal for Hockey training or matches and is available for hire for football training.
Grass Pitches
Our 3 football pitches and 1 rugby pitch is perfect for matches and training.
