For your safety and that of all swimmers we operate the following policy in relation to children swimming at Hertfordshire Sports Village:
- Over 8s – swim alone
- 5-8 years – 2 children to 1 adult
- Under 5 years – 1 child to 1 adult

Was lovely to swim this morning for the first time in several weeks. I was so impressed with the social distancing arrangements, cleanliness of the pool and related facilities. Everything was absolutely tip-top. I arrived unexpectedly early and your marshal at the entrance, checked with a colleague at poolside to see if there was room and allowed me to enter the pool without having to wait. This was using initiative in the best sense of the word to enhance the customer experience. Your poolside staff were professional as always. Thank you for the thorough preparation and training that everyone has obviously undergone – I enjoyed my swim far more than expected!
